  1. Is it worth repairing or replacing my unit that is broken again?
    If the unit is more than 10 years old and has a history or break downs, then it may be more cost-effective to replace it. It also depends on whats broken, if its a bad compressor or leaking coil it maybe to expensive. it can also be as simple as an electrical problem.
  2. My air conditioning unit seems to need Refrigerant every year?
    An air conditioning system that needs to be recharged on a regular basis is leaking and will need repair. leaking refrigerant not only causes your unit to lose cooling but also uses more energy. its also bad for the environment. Having a leaking unit causes refrigerant to enter the atmosphere and that is the worst in depleting the ozone layer.
  3. How often should i have my unit serviced?
    Depending on what kind of system ad your cooling requirements. it should be serviced at least once a year, and scheduled inspections throughout the year.
  4. Can i clean my air conditioning unit by myself?
    In some cases you can do it your self. however you will still need to have your coils treated with a cleaning solution to remove scale and buildup. you would also have to check the electrical component that are dangerous for those with out proper training. its recommended to have a certified HVAC tech that has the knowledge to do a complete service.
  5. Is it worth having my unit regularly serviced?
    Yes. Regular cleaning, inspections and tune-ups prevent breakdowns. it helps to keep your unit running efficient and prolong the life of the system. it also reduces to cost on your energy bills.
  6. Not enough air coming from my A/C vents?
    If your not getting enough air flow from you registers ( vents ) then you probably have a dirty filter. Filters should be checked at least once a month.
